It's best to send us an uncropped image showing your whole screen.

How to take a screenshot

Pick an option depending on your device's operating system:

Windows
  1. Press the 'Windows' + 'Print Screen' keys simultaneously.
  2. Your screen will briefly go dim to show that you've just taken a screenshot.
  3. Your screenshot saves automatically to this folder: Pictures → Screenshots
Mac
  • Press 'Command' + 'Shift' + '3' all together at the same time.
  • The image saves to your desktop.

How do I take a screenshot?

The instructions for taking a screenshot vary depending on the device and operating system version. The most common methods are:

  • Press and hold the 'Volume Down' button and the 'Power' button at the same time for 1 to 2 seconds.

Or

  • Press and hold the 'Home' button and the 'Power' button at the same time for 1 to 2 seconds.

Once you take the screenshot, a confirmation animation should appear.

Where do I find the screenshot?

The most popular place for Android devices to save screenshots is the 'Screenshots' folder.

Open your Gallery or file manager app and look for the 'Screenshots' folder. Google Photos saves screenshots in the 'Camera' folder on some devices.
